Nozzle & Temperature Guide

Nozzle choice and temperature range are key technical details for filament resellers and professional users.

General temperature ranges

PLA usually prints around 190–220°C, PETG around 220–250°C, ASA around 240–270°C, TPU around 210–240°C and PA6-CF around 260–290°C.

These are starting ranges and should be tuned by printer, speed, nozzle, model and material grade.

Nozzle selection

Standard PLA and PETG can usually use brass nozzles, while carbon fiber filled materials should use hardened steel or ruby nozzles.

  • Avoid brass nozzles for PA6-CF and PLA-CF.
  • Consider 0.6 mm nozzle for carbon fiber filled filament.
  • Check flow and extrusion after changing nozzle material.

Wholesale buyer notes

Clear nozzle guidance helps reduce support messages and negative reviews.

Engineering materials should always include practical printing notes for customers.
