PA6-CF Printing Guide

PA6-CF is an engineering filament for functional parts and requires proper drying, nozzle selection and printer setup.

Material requirements

PA6-CF should be treated as a professional material, not as a beginner filament.

It normally requires drying before printing and should be stored sealed after opening.

  • Use hardened steel or ruby nozzle; avoid brass nozzles.
  • A 0.6 mm nozzle is often recommended for carbon fiber filled materials.
  • Use an enclosed or stable-temperature environment when possible.

Typical settings

Typical nozzle temperature is around 260–290°C depending on printer and material grade.

Bed temperature often falls in the 70–110°C range. Adhesion and warping should be tested with real engineering parts.

Wholesale buyer notes

Distributors should provide clear user instructions to reduce complaints caused by wrong nozzle or wet filament.

PA6-CF is suitable for functional prototypes, brackets, jigs, fixtures and structural components.
