PA6-CF requires disciplined drying, dry storage and abrasion-resistant printing hardware.

  • Use 80–90°C for 8–12 hours as a typical starting range.
  • Print from a dry box whenever practical.
  • Use a hardened steel nozzle because carbon fiber is abrasive.
  • Reseal the spool immediately with desiccant after printing.

Practical Decision Process

Begin with the part requirement and the target printer. Record the filament condition, spool history, nozzle, build surface, temperature profile and expected production duration. Change one variable at a time so the result can be compared rather than guessed.

Drying recommendations are starting ranges, not universal certification values. Follow the product TDS, dryer instructions and spool temperature limits. Printer configuration, ambient humidity and print duration affect the final result.

For a trial or wholesale program, define the material, quantity, destination, printer type and application before selecting colors. Confirm packaging, storage, technical documents and repeat-order requirements before scaling from sample evaluation to regular supply.
